The railway world is still largely unknown to her, even though she spends many weekends on board trains. Every journey becomes a new opportunity to observe. Her curiosity naturally draws her to new subjects, new experiences and the people who bring them to life. For her, this show is a meeting point between her passion for images, her love of creation and her constant desire to discover. Reporter & Fact-checker (History Specialist)Christophe knows Switzerland wherever there's a station. This fifty-something father of 4 children spends his free time between mountains and railways. Trains rhythm his professional life at the Federal Office of Transport and his personal life through various modeling projects: the 4 seasons in N scale or the Gotthard ramps are two examples. A painter and image enthusiast, he combines his passion for trains with an artistic vision of railway photography. Through his economist background, he also became passionate about economic and social history in which railways play a decisive role in Switzerland since the 19th century. Christophe also expresses his artistic side in writing, today in his blogs, formerly in poetry including participation in the young authors space competition or his involvement in Hèbe editions. At the crossroads of his passions are various blogs and his desire to share railway history with you in Rail One.

Communications Manager and Graphic DesignerLike his brother Tim, he traveled on Swiss railways from a young age with his grandmother. He truly appreciated those moments. However, he had a very different idea of his professional future. Also from a young age, drawing and creating fascinated him. He always knew he wanted to pursue an artistic career. After several internships in different trades, graphic design appeared as the best solution. He is now in his 4th year of graphic design at Eracom, and driven by his desire for experience as well as his brother, he decided to join the Rail One team.

Coordination OfficerLiving near the railway tracks since early childhood, he quickly became interested in this neighboring environment. From there, an interest in public transport was born. Also loving the behind-the-scenes of audiovisual programs, he joined the team to help, on a technical level, to grow this show that is Rail One.

Ludovic Schmidt
Audio Post-production & MixingTrained at the Music Academy International in Nancy in 2003, Ludovic has been working in sound and music production for over twenty years. After several years in recording studios, he broadened his skills to audiovisual creation, particularly graphic design and video. This experience allows him to approach projects as a whole, while keeping sound as his specialty. Based in France, he joined the Rail One team to handle the audio post-production of the shows, from preparing and processing the various sound elements to the final mix for broadcast.

Mathis Châtillon
Coordinator & Presenter (Operations Specialist)He has been passionate from a very young age, first about trams and later about trains, particularly after receiving, like many children, a box of wooden trains for Christmas. The layouts at home quickly grew bigger, as did the amount of time he spent watching the webcams of the Swiss Vapeur Parc.
Television has also played an important role in his everyday life since childhood. He can spend hours watching programmes, sometimes just as much for what happens behind the scenes as for what appears on screen: camera work, studio organisation, control rooms, editing, pacing and production techniques. This fascination was soon accompanied by a strong interest in presenting and bringing people together.
His passion for events also helped him develop his organisational, management and leadership skills, while railways always remained part of his daily life in one way or another.
Rail One was ultimately born from the combination of these two major passions: railways and television. It is a way to tell stories, share knowledge and, above all, bring stories and emotions to life on screen, guided by an idea that has gradually become a true signature: “Sharing, our emotions.”
Today, the programme represents a first step in an audiovisual journey that he intends to continue developing and expanding.

Camera Operator & Drone PilotTrains have always been part of Papillon's daily life. He grew up in a ski resort where the tracks wound their way through the landscape. It was with Rail One that he truly discovered the railway world, and he was immediately captivated by this passionate and meticulous community. With over ten years of experience in audiovisual production, he has worked for clients in sports, the mountains, hospitality and watchmaking. He already finds filming trains from the ground exciting, but filming them with a drone is a different kind of magic: offering a view of trains that almost no one ever gets to see. Today, he enthusiastically brings his eye and his experience to the show.

Coordinator and Reporter (Rolling Stock Specialist)From his earliest childhood, he traveled on Swiss railways with his grandmother and received trains of all types for his birthday or year-end holidays. Wood, LEGO or real, the railway world fascinated him and he knew before even starting secondary school that he would want to work near the tracks. He currently works at SBB as a logistics specialist. He regularly makes trainspotting his hobby and since 2021, filming, editing and writing for this audiovisual adventure have also become part of it. It is therefore with great joy that he will help you discover this world of enthusiasts from above with his drone and on the ground in various segments.

After several years at an agency in Lausanne and a professional experience in Montreal, he now works as a freelance director and editor. What he loves most is telling stories. Whether it's a documentary, an advertisement or a corporate project, he approaches every production with the same curiosity – an approach that now leads him to take an interest in the world of railways as well.
